Educators in St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Livingston, or Washington Parish,
We are excited to work with your schools and provide the opportunity of scholarships to students pursuing a science or
engineering degree in college. The Harvey L. Foster Foundation for Science Education was founded in 2007 with the mission
to award the ambition of our future science leaders of tomorrow with college tuition today. From grade school to grad
school, the Foundation is supporting the next generation of scientists, engineers and chemists through our educational
initiatives. Whether it’s introducing the marvels of science and engineering to students through our career day
mentoring programs, rewarding excellence in high school science fair competitions, or providing scholarships for students
to pursue science careers, the Foundation strives to touch the lives of thousands of students community-wide every day.
The Letter to High School Educators will provide you with information on our
Harvey L. Foster Foundation scholarship program, and our Letter to College Educators
will provide you with information on our EBS Pearl River scholarship program. We encourage you to
provide your students with this information, the application forms, and any links they may use to take advantage of our
scholarship opportunities. The complete application packet must be received by January 31, 2012. Additional information
